<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Westbrook Public Schools</p> <p>Elementary Classroom Teacher- Anticipated Grade 4 Math Teacher</p> <p>Hours and Pay Rate Based on WEA Agreement Contract</p> <p>Westbrook Public Schools is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and compassionate full-time elementary classroom teacher to join our elementary school team for the 2025-2026 school year.</p> <p>Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.</p> <p>Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Providing differentiated instruction for students in elementary grades. </li><li>Working with grade-level teams in a collaborative, MTSS model. </li><li>Ensuring safety of students at all times. </li><li>Attending and documenting conferences/meetings/trainings with supervisors, teachers, principals and parents as required by local, state and/or federal agencies </li><li>Maintaining inventory of educational materials and supplies. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Experience in an elementary setting is required.</p> <p>Required Connecticut Certifications:</p> <p>Elementary 1-6 (305); Math, Middle School (4-8) (229); or equivalent</p> <p>All applicants must complete an electronic application via Applitrack: www.westbrookctschools.org.
