Our relentless focus on consumer-driven innovation and incredible design has led to a global portfolio of disruptive products across categories - from kitchen to home and beauty.</p> <p>The Role</p> <p>We're looking for a visionary Creative Strategy Director to join the Shark Home team. This role is pivotal in shaping the creative strategy across our full Shark Home portfolio - including Fans, Air Purifiers, Cordless Vacuums, Robot Vacuums, Corded Vacuums, and Hard Floor/Deep Carpet Cleaning categories.</p> <p>As a strategic partner to the Creative Lead, Product Development, CI and Marketing, this role works upstream at the earliest stages of innovation to define product positioning, craft compelling creative briefs, and guide creative work throughout the entire go-to-market funnel.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the Creative Lead, Product Development & Engineering upstream during the early stages of advanced design & product development to align and elevate the vision and consumer insight, ensuring consistency and clarity across categories. </li><li>Define the product whitespace and ways to differentiate in the category by defining the Shark home point of view/reason for being. </li><li>The work serves as a brief for the creative teams (in Needham) to create assets for testing and validation of packaging, claims messaging, and more. </li><li>Develop and socialize creative briefs that inspire breakthrough ideas across content, packaging, digital, retail, and experiential. </li><li>Own and evolve the strategic articulation of the Shark brand across the Home category, ensuring each product tells a cohesive, compelling story. Be a key voice for stakeholders and the Executive Leadership Team in elevating our Home category. </li><li>Serve as a creative strategic SWAT partner, embedding with cross-functional teams to bring sharp consumer insights, brand strategy, and storytelling to early product ideation and positioning. </li><li>Act as the strategic filter and thought partner throughout the creative process - from concept reviews to in-market execution - providing constructive feedback that elevates the work. </li><li>Translate data driven business and consumer insights into actionable, emotionally resonant creative strategies that move the needle. </li><li>Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and cultural shifts to inform and inspire creative strategies and executions. </li><li>Explore new creative opportunities, platforms, and mediums to keep the SharkNinja brand at the forefront of innovation. </li><li>Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the team, encouraging experimentation and out-of-the-box thinking. </li><li>Help balance speed and agility with strategic depth in a fast-paced innovation pipeline. </li></ul> <p>Within 30 Days</p> <p>You'll dive right in, meeting partners from across the org. You'll quickly get up to speed on the many innovative products in the Shark Home portfolio, and the exciting innovations we're launching next. In these early days your focus will be on listening and learning, while immediately adding value by acting as the voice of the consumer in meetings - ensuring what we're building is exciting to them and solving their problems.</p> <p>Within 6 Months</p> <p>You'll build deep relationships with cross-functional partners, establishing yourself as a key teammate to turn to for truth and insights. You'll keep the team focused on what matters most (our specific & differentiated position) and establish new ways to speed the process of getting from concept to story. You'll lead the way towards an internal brand vision the team can use as a solid foundation for all their work.</p> <p>Within a Year</p> <p>You'll have found multiple ways to innovate how we do things that have increased our speed, our efficacy, and our creativity. You'll have launched several products to great success. People from across the company will go out of their way to make sure you're in their meetings because your perspective is valued by all. You'll be well on your way to becoming one of the industry's game changers.</p> <p>Who You Are</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in brand strategy or creative strategy ideally within consumer products or design-led companies. </li><li>Proven track record of partnering with Creative, Product, and Marketing to define and launch innovative products and campaigns. </li><li>Strong writer / storyteller who can distill complex ideas into simple, powerful narratives. </li><li>Speedy and scrappy, without losing quality.
