<p>Work Schedule:</p> <p>100% FTE, day shift. Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM. No weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.</p> <p>Pay:</p> <ul> <li>External hires may be eligible for up to a $2,500 sign on bonus. </li></ul> <p>Be part of something remarkable</p> <p>Bring your laboratory experience to UW Health.</p> <p>We are seeking a Specimen Control and Receiving Tech - Cytology to:</p> <ul> <li>Receive specimens and research kits into the laboratory, check for correct labeling, enter tests into Laboratory Information System, process specimens, and load them onto instruments or direct to appropriate work station, technologist, or storage area. </li><li>Basic instrument maintenance (temperatures, monitoring reagents) and clerical duties (filing, mailing, faxing). </li><li>Interact daily with pathologists, physicians, technologists, clinical staff, nursing unit personnel, and patients. </li></ul> <p>At UW Health, you will have:</p> <ul> <li>An excellent benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off and retirement plans.
