This senior-level role will lead civil and structural design efforts across new and ongoing engineering programs, guiding project execution, technical quality, and team development.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is an accomplished Civil/Structural Engineer with deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and demonstrated experience managing complex engineering deliverables. You will oversee the design and analysis of major structural components-including steel structures, concrete foundations, support systems, and equipment enclosures-while mentoring engineers and driving consistency, innovation, and execution excellence.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead, perform, review, and approve structural engineering design and analysis for steel structures and concrete foundations. </li><li>Interpret and integrate design requirements from customers, suppliers, and internal engineering groups. </li><li>Develop and review technical requirements supporting proposals, bids, and overall project strategies. </li><li>Represent the Civil/Structural Engineering team in technical discussions with customers, providing expert guidance and solutions. </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, Construction, Project Management, and other engineering teams to resolve scope-related issues. </li><li>Support product simplification and standardization initiatives to enhance manufacturability and reduce cost. </li><li>Advance design standards for turbine generator foundations, air intake systems, enclosures, and piping support structures. </li><li>Lead meetings and design reviews with international engineering partners, ensuring alignment and successful implementation. </li><li>Oversee team execution schedules, expedited engineering activities, escalated technical needs, and delivery milestones. </li><li>Train and mentor engineers in structural analysis, calculation methodologies, and sound engineering judgment. </li><li>Assess team workload and coordinate with management to balance resources and maintain efficiency. </li><li>Prepare and review budgets, bids, technical documents, and commercial requirements. </li><li>Verify that arrangement drawings, structural interfaces, and foundation details meet all requirements. </li><li>Provide performance insights to the team manager and contribute to evaluations, coaching, and continuous improvement. </li><li>Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts to strengthen the Civil/Structural Engineering team. </li></ul>
