<p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Two years library experience including some bibliographic verification and/or public services experience as well as an understanding of specific library policies, rules, procedures, and organization. </li><li>Ability to schedule and expedite workflow of a library unit. </li><li>Ability to instruct student assistants in unit work methods and procedures. </li><li>Ability to operate standard office and library equipment. </li><li>Possess the keyboarding skills necessary to perform successfully in this position. </li><li>Ability to effectively interact with the public, students, faculty and staff. </li><li>Ability to deal effectively with people under stress. </li><li>Ability to perform the functions consistent with intermediate word processing and intermediate spreadsheet applications as demonstrated by a skills assessment. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications All Qualifications</p> <p>Unless otherwise required by an applicable collective bargaining agreement, all minimum, additional and desired qualifications are preferred, but qualifications, degrees, and/or experience deemed comparable and/or equivalent by Oakland University in its sole and exclusive discretion may be considered.</p> <p>Position Details Position Purpose</p> <p>To perform moderately complex non-standardized clerical, technical, and/or public service library activities.</p> <p>Job Open Date 05/19/2025 Job Close Date</p>
