<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Department of Product Design in the College of Design at the University of Kentucky is accepting applications for a Part-Time Instructor from individuals who are passionate about design education, its links to professional practice, and the application of design process to real-world problems. Applicants should also share the Product Design program's commitment to making design education accessible to all students.</p> <p>With a curriculum balancing physical and digital product development rooted in solid research, the advertised position is open to a range of disciplinary specializations or specific interests across the breadth of design process. While prior teaching experience in higher education is preferred, the Department also values the perspectives and insights professional experience brings to the educational environment. Successful candidates may be asked to teach lectures, studios, or other courses in the Product Design curriculum as program needs and candidate qualifications align. This is a teaching position with no expectation for research, though candidates may contribute to service efforts of the Department of Product Design.</p> <p>Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
