The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding metal components with precision, ensuring that the final product meets our quality and safety standards. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent welding skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</p> <p>Hours: M-Th 1-11pm</p> <p>VALUES</p> <ul> <li>Innovation </li><li>Commitment & Passion </li><li>Integrity </li><li>Team & Relationships </li></ul> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Perform various welding tasks to join metal parts and components accurately. </li><li>Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure the proper alignment and welding of components. </li><li>Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and measuring as necessary to ensure the highest quality welds. </li><li>Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, making necessary adjustments and repairs as needed. </li><li>Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly. </li><li>Work closely with other team members, such as fabricators and supervisors, to ensure efficient production and product quality. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered. </li></ul> <p>ATTRIBUTES</p> <ul> <li>Self-motivated </li><li>Own operation and control </li><li>Able to read blueprints </li><li>Attention to detail </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of recent MIG welding preferred </li><li>Experience welding around pipe </li><li>Welding experience with galvanized material </li><li>Able to lift up to 50lbs </li><li>Post-secondary certificate, vocational training preferred </li><li>Successfully pass internal AWS weld test </li></ul> <p>The target hourly range is $22.00 - $25.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
