<p>Job Overview</p> <p>Our Talent Acquisition Specialist works in a fast-paced environment and drives talent acquisition efforts to hire an inclusive workforce. This position leads and implements the talent acquisition initiatives including full life cycle recruiting; developing and implementing a broad based sourcing strategy; delivery of a talent pipeline near and long term; reporting on key metrics and establishing strong relationships within HR and Horizon Bank's leadership teams.</p> <p>Duties</p> <ul> <li>Partner with business leaders to recruit and hire a qualified and inclusive workforce. </li><li>Champion the onboarding experience for new hires and transfers. </li><li>Develop accurate ads using creative writing capability to attract candidates. </li><li>Represent Bank at job fairs and recruiting events. </li><li>Manage relationships with temporary agencies and recruiters. </li><li>Complete special projects and reporting. </li><li>Promote collaboration and effective communication across different levels of the organization. </li><li>Perform all work in compliance with established regulations, policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and instructions. </li><li>Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed. </li><li>Maintain customer confidence and protects bank by keeping information private and confidential. </li><li>Participate in ongoing skill, compliance, risk management and security training as required for the position and apply knowledge in daily tasks. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline or equivalent work experience required. </li><li>PHR or SHRM-CP preferred or ability to obtain within one year of employment. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years Human Resources recruiting experience required, corporate recruiting preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in the use of a variety of recruitment resources, such as LinkedIn and Indeed. </li><li>Individual must display a passion for the talent acquisition function with a focus on inclusion. </li><li>Knowledge of Affirmative Action requirements preferred. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and applicant tracking systems required. </li><li>Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Exceptional organization, time management and follow-up skills and teamwork. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, advisors and outside service providers.
