As part of our Behavioral Health Division, you'll provide expert mental health care to adults living with severe mental illness in a structured, recovery-focused setting.</p> <p>This is more than a job - it's a calling to help people heal, grow, and reclaim their independence.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>As a Psychologist at LRC, you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations (cognitive, personality, and risk assessments).</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and lead individualized treatment plans for patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide both individual and group therapy sessions.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a key clinical voice on interdisciplinary treatment teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Offer expert consultation on behavioral strategies and therapeutic approaches.</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver training to staff on psychological practices and risk management.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to policy improvements and program development.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide expert testimony at mental health board hearings.</p> </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <p>Requirements / Qualifications:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Doctorate in Psychology.</p> </li><li> <p>Licensed in Nebraska or eligible for a provisional psychology license.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>One year of post-doctorate experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with patients with severe and persistent mental illness.</p> </li></ul> <p>Key Skills for Success:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Expertise in psychological assessment and treatment.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong collaboration and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Passion for trauma-informed care and recovery-oriented services.</p> </li></ul> <p>Why DHHS?</p> <p>Working at LRC means joining a mission-driven team that values compassion, innovation, and safety.
