<p>Anticipated Position: Middle School - 7th & 8th Grade Science Teacher</p> <p>Reports to: Middle School Principal</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>? Valid State Department of Education licensure/certificate</p> <p>? Licensed to teach 7th and 8th Grade Science</p> <p>Responsibilities and Essential Functions:</p> <p>? Prepare engaging, standards-aligned instructional materials.</p> <p>? Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state standards and district curriculum goals.</p> <p>? Teach scheduled classes with creativity and a student-centered approach.</p> <p>? Foster an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.</p> <p>? Evaluate students' academic needs and learning styles to identify opportunities for enhanced</p> <p>learning.</p> <p>? Use formal and informal assessment strategies to monitor progress and provide meaningful,</p> <p>actionable feedback.</p> <p>? Employ a data-driven approach to adjust and refine lesson plans based on assessment results.</p> <p>? Facilitate activities that promote teamwork, collaboration, and positive peer relationships.</p> <p>? Establish a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, engagement, and mutual respect.</p> <p>? Participate in extracurricular activities to support the school community.</p> <p>? Embody high ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality in all professional conduct.</p> <p>? Maintain a clear record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.</p> <p>?
