<p>Duties of Position:</p> <ul> <li>Managing and updating applicant data using multiple internal systems and databases. </li><li>Managing the sorting, distribution, and handling of incoming and outgoing mail to ensure timely and accurate delivery. </li><li>Performing data validation and ensuring accuracy of records. </li><li>Scanning, reviewing, and verifying documents, and accurately indexing records within internal systems to maintain data integrity and accessibility. </li><li>Supporting ongoing process improvements and contributing to the development, testing, and implementation of system enhancements related to transcript and document processing, as applicable. </li><li>Performs related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Personal Characteristics:</p> <ul> <li>Must be reliable and punctual. </li><li>Ideal candidate must be organized and detail-oriented. </li><li>Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision. </li><li>Enjoy working with people and building strong relationships easily. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Work is primarily indoor and sedentary in nature.</p> <p>Equipment/Tools Used: Utilizes standard office equipment, including computers, in order to perform the duties of the job.</p> <p>Schedule Information: This is a temporary, contingent (part-time) position with employment beginning Summer 2026 and ending no later than August 14, 2026.</p> <p>The Admissions Processing Office summer hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Candidates must be available to work within this schedule to be considered for employment.</p> <p>Additional hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, may be required based on operational needs, particularly during peak periods leading up to and at the start of the term.</p> <p>Hours Per Week: Work hours may vary week to week, with additional hours -including occasional evenings or weekends- required during peak processing periods.</p> <p>Special Notes:</p> <ul> <li>A cover letter and resume may be directly attached to your application; however, this is not required. </li><li>Employment is contingent upon a Criminal Background Check. </li><li>Employment sponsorship is not available. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent with minimum keyboarding skills of 45-wpm.</p> <p>Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently. </li><li>Experience handling sensitive student and departmental information with a high level of confidentiality. </li><li>Ability to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency. </li><li>Effective communication and customer service skills. </li><li>Prior experience working with college systems or similar databases preferred. </li><li>Bilingual skills a plus. </li></ul>
