<p>Knowledge / Skills / Ability:</p> <ul> <li>Capacity to learn new software programs including YARDI Property Management software </li><li>Microsoft Word & Excel </li><li>Microsoft Internet Explorer or Google Chrome </li><li>Ability to multi-task </li><li>Strong interpersonal and team skills </li><li>Troubleshooting and analytical skills </li><li>The ability to work independently </li><li>Excellent written and verbal business communication </li><li>Knowledge of Real Estate Databases, transaction processes, including review of contracts </li><li>Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures </li><li>Experience with Accounting for Multifamily Housing </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience </li><li>YARDI Property Management software </li><li>YARDI PayScan </li><li>Knowledge of LIHTC and Section 8 Policies and Best Practices. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain the integrity of the company's Yardi database system, including:</p> </li><li> <p>System is in balance</p> </li><li> <p>Workflows are properly maintained</p> </li><li> <p>Employees and menus are properly assigned</p> </li><li> <p>General database & user security</p> </li><li> <p>Administer user security profiles and manage databases (production, test, test 2, etc.) for Yardi.</p> </li><li> <p>Working with the Database Director, the Operations Director and our Insurance coordinator to improve systems</p> </li><li> <p>Work with Business Systems Analyst(s) and other 3rd Party Management SPOCs to maintain systems settings, processes, vendor approvals, and documentation</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in testing for Yardi systems upgrades, with a focus on database changes and third party application information</p> </li><li> <p>Helping perform quarterly user audit for review by auditors and MIS/ Accounting senior management</p> </li><li> <p>Provide ongoing support and training to all users of the system and all SPOC's at 3rd Party Managers utilizing the database</p> </li><li> <p>From time to time, leading monthly calls and other training calls.</p> </li><li> <p>Help provide a link between various groups (including Regional Managers and Asset Managers) and IT for Yardi related report writing.</p> </li><li> <p>Use experience and judgment to know when a task needs to be performed within the Yardi user group, and when the analyst should request external technical assistance</p> </li><li> <p>Help develop in-house training programs to further the Yardi proficiency for Peak Living on-site users, regionals, and accounting staff</p> </li></ul> <p>Peak Living LLC offers a competitive compensation package including health, vision, dental and life insurance and discounted rent program.</p>
