<p>Position Summary Manager, Physician & Provider Onboarding Position Summary: Manages onboarding and retention initiatives for physicians and providers to support successful employment initiation with satisfaction and success within the Orlando Health Medical Group (OHMG). This manager leads the team that helps new doctors and providers get started at Orlando Health. From paperwork and credentialing to orientation and support, this role ensures a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team that provides concierge-style onboarding for new physicians and providers. Oversee all parts of the onboarding process: credentialing, HR, IT access, benefits, immigration, marketing, and more. Work closely with other departments to build strong relationships and improve processes. Use tools and dashboards to track progress, identify trends, and improve the onboarding experience. Collaborate with recruitment to ensure a smooth handoff from hiring to onboarding. Help forecast staffing needs and align onboarding with strategic growth goals. Represent the organization at events and maintain relationships with external vendors. Manage budgets, vendor payments, and onboarding-related expenses. Location/Schedule: Downtown Orlando/Hybrid What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree required. At least 5 years of experience in leadership, HR, onboarding, credentialing, or healthcare recruitment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Able to handle complex processes and bring structure to ambiguous situations - Critical thinking skills are a MUST! Essential Functions: Leads a team of physician & provider onboarding specialists providing concierge services to all internal and external customers. Provides direction to the team monitoring and tracks the progress and completion of all functions of employment onboarding including but not limited to credentialing, privileging, payor enrollment, IS system support, human resources, orientation, benefits, visa and immigration handling, marketing, physician and provider needs, and service line support. Collaborates with various clinical and administrative teams to build relationships, learn each other's areas of business, and develop unique solutions to systems and processes. Maintains and utilizes various tools and resources to document onboarding and retention activities and assist with the production of reports and dashboards to identify trends and areas for process improvement. Works with the physician and provider recruitment team leaders to collaboratively provide a smooth transition experience for each new hire. Supports the Director to develop and maintain key performance indicators as needed to support strategic growth initiatives, oversee process and improvement projects, and meet internal and external customer experience objectives. Assists with the creation of growth and forecasting projections for OHMG physician staffing and ensure team alignment with staffing and recruitment budgets. Manages various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, workload leveling and forecasting, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required, including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Mediates and de-escalates conflict between all customers and provides leadership with proposed solutions for service recovery. Oversees the administration of various projects and strategic programs, such as referral bonuses. Professionally represents the hospital system at orientation, recruitment events, conferences, and other venues. Maintains relationships with external vendors including external recruitment firms, sourcing and applicant tracking platforms, benefits administrators, realtors, travel booking platforms, and local community partners. Manages the payment of vendor invoices, reconciliation of expenses associated with onboarding and retention activities. Develops an understanding of market competitors to support continued growth. Maintains regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local, standards. Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Other Related Functions Able to remain comfortable with complicated processes with ambiguity and bring structure to open-ended workflow improvement projects with an eye towards technology-based solutions. Exhibits strong problem solving and critical thinking skills while remaining efficient and multi-tasking in an organized team environment. Models the way for a flawless physician and provider experience through excellent written and verbal communication & representation of our brand, mission, values and patient care philosophy. Demonstrates high level interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and promote positive relationships with all internal and external physicians, administrative stakeholders, and senior leadership. Ability to proofread written deliverables and produce a polished product.</p>
