We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members. </li><li>Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family. </li></ul> <p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.</p> <p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience.</p> <p>Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a primary clinical resource for cardiology patients, providing assessment, triage, and care coordination. </li><li>Evaluate patient symptoms and concerns via phone, patient portal, and other communication channels to determine appropriate next steps. </li><li>Collaborate closely with cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and the care team to ensure timely, high-quality patient care. </li><li>Coordinate diagnostic testing, procedures, referrals, and follow-up care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. </li><li>Educate patients and families on cardiac diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and heart-healthy lifestyle modifications. </li><li>Review laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results and communicate provider recommendations to patients. </li><li>Support patients managing chronic cardiovascular conditions such as heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease. </li><li>Document patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately within the electronic health record (EHR). </li><li>Prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced specialty clinic while delivering exceptional patient-centered care. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Iowa. </li><li>Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; </li><li>Previous cardiology, specialty clinic, ambulatory care, critical care, telemetry, or medical-surgical nursing experience is great, but not required. </li><li>Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills. </li><li>Excellent communication and patient education abilities. </li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment. </li><li>Experience with Epic a plus! </li></ul>
