Our primary goal is to provide exceptional accounting and administration servicing for our clients' assigned alternative investment funds. As a business analyst, you will serve as a dedicated resource to the alternative investment fund services department to assist with internal and external client solutions/product based support.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>As an analyst, you will be the liaison between Operations, Solutions, Product and Development teams, working closely to identify, develop, and implement product and technology based solutions to increase operational efficiency, improve accuracy, and mitigate operational risk. </li><li>You'll be documenting and implementing business and functional product requirements. </li><li>You will be asked to educate the operations teams on our products/solutions. </li><li>You will be expected to maintain a general understanding of our various businesses, client businesses and financial services generally. </li><li>You will get the opportunity to apply creative problem-solving skills to address complex challenges and effectively improve processes. </li><li>We want you to succeed and look for future solutions! You will have the opportunity to partner with a diverse team and grow your career. </li></ul> <p>What we need from you:</p> <ul> <li>BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role. </li><li>Experience with alternative investment systems </li><li>Proficient in Advent Geneva, gained through hands on experience, is essential. </li><li>Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel. </li><li>The self-motivation, organization and drive to complete multiple deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support your internal clients through email and/or phone calls. </li><li>Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with your internal clients and other service providers. </li><li>Strong problem solving skills as you will need to be creative and diligent to meet our users needs. </li></ul> <p>What we would like from you:</p> <ul> <li>A drive to broaden one's knowledge of the financial services industry by learning new concepts and systems and taking the initiative to apply it to daily work assignments. </li><li>Attention-to-detail to ensure that all deliverables consistently meet the highest standard of quality and accuracy. </li><li>Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
