<p>Job Description</p> <p>Returning UsersLog Back In</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>Sodexo is seeking a full-time Clinical Dietitian for UH Samaritan Medical Center, a 55-bed acute care facility in Ashland, OH. The Dietitian will provide general outpatient counseling to a variety of patient populations and disease states, including but not limited to weight management, diabetes, heart disease, oncology, and gastrointestinal disorders. This position will also provide support for inpatients.</p> <p>$5,000 sign-on bonus!</p> <p>Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal</p> <p>Three weeks of vacation, eight holidays and three personal days paid each year</p> <p>Reimbursement for continuing education events</p> <p>Career advancement opportunities with Sodexo's Clinical Career Ladder</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Provide individualized one-on-one Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to clients of all ages through evidence-based nutrition care </li><li>Provide inpatient nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units </li><li>Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team regarding the patient's overall nutritional care plan </li><li>Assist with the growth and development of the outpatient program </li><li>Stay up to date with evidence-based practice regarding the management of acute and chronic conditions </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. If you need assistance with the application process, please complete this form.</p> <p>Qualifications & Requirements</p> <p>Minimum Education Requirement:</p> <p>Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)</p> <p>For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)</p> <p>Credentials Requirement:</p> <p>Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire</p> <p>Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
