Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.</p> <p>What you will be doing</p> <ul> <li>Supervises students in clinical settings </li><li>Teaches nursing skills and health assessment </li><li>Assigns grades for classes taught </li><li>Complies with all class schedules and deadlines for course documentation </li><li>Acts as a professional representative with the affiliating agency on behalf of the College </li><li>Teaches the assigned course consistent with course syllabus and school curriculum </li><li>May be assigned to provide academic advisement </li><li>May be assigned to participate in departmental and College affairs </li><li>May be assigned to develop curricula </li><li>May be assigned to recruit students </li><li>May be assigned to serve on committees </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>What you need to succeed</p> <ul> <li>Masters degree with Nursing major; and Valid Florida License to practice Nursing; and Two (2) Years Equivalent Full-Time Clinical Practice experience as a Registered Nurse. </li><li>All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution </li><li>Theoretical and clinical expertise in medical-surgical nursing and/or additional ability to teach psychiatric or obstetrical or community health or pediatric nursing required </li><li>Must have the ability to communicate effectively with students </li><li>Must be willing to work evenings and weekends </li><li>Must be able to travel between campuses and clinical agencies </li></ul> <p>Preferences</p> <ul> <li>For best consideration upload your unofficial transcripts along with cover letter and resume.
