<p>This job is for those with little to no Quality Assurance experience. The apprentice will perform QA duties for no less than 3000 work hours with no less than 30% of those spent on field. Work hours shall be spent to involve at a minimum on welding/brazing, painting, and mechanical QA duties. Daily reports to be filled out and submitted to QA Managers.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p> <p>Knowledgeable in metrology and instrumentation.</p> <p>Ensure welding and brazing procedures and worker qualifications are up to date.</p> <p>Ensure that all welding and brazing personnel are properly trained and certified.</p> <p>Performs and prepare reports of inspection results and maintain records of inspections.</p> <p>Able to complete required reporting to Management, as well as to Government or Commercial</p> <p>Must have excellent written and communication skills, as well as computer working skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.</p> <p>The individual must have a working knowledge of portable document format software in regards to simple file conversion, file securement and signatures, such as Adobe PDF.</p> <p>Must be able to manage people with the ability to handle stress and employee relations.</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
