If you are ready to take the next step in your career and make a positive impact on patients' health, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at MUSC Health.</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement Beacon therapy plans for patients with cancer, utilizing specialized knowledge and expertise to optimize patient outcomes. </li><li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess patients' medication regimens and make recommendations for changes or adjustments as needed. </li><li>Conduct thorough medication reviews and provide patient education on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions. </li><li>Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of medication therapy and make necessary interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes. </li><li>Serve as a resource for healthcare providers and other staff members regarding medication therapy for patients with cancer. </li><li>Stay current with the latest developments and research in the field of oncology and incorporate new information into practice. </li><li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety. </li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medication histories, assessments, and interventions. </li><li>Provide clinical guidance and support to pharmacy staff, including technicians and students. </li><li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients with cancer. </li><li>Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to pharmacy practice. </li><li>Participate in professional development activities, such as continuing education, to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge </li></ul> <p>Additional Job Description</p> <p>Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
