<p><em>AdventHealth Medical Group Interventional Pulmonology at Celebration</em></p> <p><em>Nurse Practitioner, APRN or Physician Assistant, PA-C</em></p> <p><em>Full Time Opportunity Serving AdventHealth Celebration</em></p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>The APRN or PA, under the supervision of the Physician(s) who acts as the collaborative practitioner(s), is responsible for:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Performing health assessments including patient history and physical examination in the office setting - Primarily in Celebration, FL</p> </li><li> <p>Performs diagnostic procedures according to privileges and maintains log.</p> </li><li> <p>Orders, interprets and incorporates diagnostic tests, studies and lab values into the plan of care; evaluates effectiveness.</p> </li><li> <p>Formulates appropriate diagnosis based on history, physical examination and clinical findings.</p> </li><li> <p>Plans and provides care within the framework of policies, unit guidelines and privileges.</p> </li><li> <p>Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies according to privileges.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides ongoing patient/family and staff education.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with all members of the healthcare team including family.</p> </li><li> <p>Documents in a timely and thorough manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicates report in an efficient and complete manner.</p> </li></ul> <p>SCHEDULE DETAILS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm</p> </li><li> <p>Campus: AH Celebration</p> </li><li> <p>Call Rotation - includes hospital rounding</p> </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public.</p> </li><li> <p>Desire to learn and improve skillset</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to reflect on one's own strengths and weaknesses</p> </li><li> <p>Motivated to grow as a provider</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to handle elevated emotions and dying patients</p> </li><li> <p>Comfort with a fast-growing department</p> </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies</p> </li><li> <p>Pulmonary experience (preferred)</p> </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND REGISTRATION:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license</p> </li><li> <p>Current, valid DEA license</p> </li><li> <p>ANCC, AANP (or equivalent) or NCCPA Certification</p> </li><li> <p>Current BLS and ACLS required</p> </li></ul> <p>Category: Physician Services</p> <p>Schedule: Full-time</p> <p>Req ID: 147094384</p>
