<p>Title: Curriculum Systems Analyst, Office of the Registrar</p> <p>Department Org: Registrar - 103170</p> <p>Employee Classification: U1 - Unclassified PSA FT</p> <p>Bargaining Unit: Professional Staff Association</p> <p>Primary Location: MC AD</p> <p>Shift: 1</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Curriculum Systems Analyst (CSA) is a cross-functional position that manages the overall life cycle of a student's academic progress by developing, evaluating, and maintaining transfer course and Degree Audit records in the student systems used for academic advising and degree certification. The CSA will assist the Assistant Registrar in establishing UT's transfer course equivalencies, and when necessary, partner with faculty, admissions, and academic departments. The objective is to ensure that the university delivers the highest level of student customer service, efficient workflow, and accuracy of transfer course evaluation.</p> <p>The CSA will also be involved with maintaining compliance with the Ohio Department of Higher Education's Transfer Assurance Guarantee, Ohio Transfer Module guidelines, and Transfer Guaranteed Pathways. This includes all university, international, and military credit. The CSA communicates with prospective and current transfer students regarding their transfer credit, the transfer credit process, and maintains all records related to this process.</p> <p>The CSA also works closely with college advisors, faculty, and the Office of the Provost office to ensure academic program proposals, course proposals, and modifications are accurately programmed in the Degree Audit system by designing, constructing, and maintaining new, current, and past degree requirements. The CSA consistently maintains the overall accuracy and usability of every degree program's audit to support retention and graduation rates.</p> <p>The CSA also helps maintain NCAA compliance requirements in all undergraduate degree programs. Additionally, the CSA maintains progress-to-degree requirements that support the institution's data needs to track retention and graduation rates. The CSA also provides degree audit training to faculty, staff, and students.</p> <p>In addition, this position is the primary data custodian of the Student System, which includes the Operational Data Store (ODS), Web Report Library (WRL), Imaging and Banner, researching job responsibilities and determining appropriate access to perform assigned duties of users.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Education/experience/licensing:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required </li><li>Intermediate to advanced knowledge or ability to master common campus-specific computer applications </li></ul> <p>Communication and other skills:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills required </li><li>Ability to work effectively with diverse populations across campus required </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required </li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills </li><li>Must demonstrate proficiency in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and possess strong organizational skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Experience at an accredited educational institution in an admissions/records/college office preferred</p> <p>Knowledge in transfer articulation policies and procedures preferred</p> <p>Conditions of Employment:</p> <p>To promote the highest levels of health and well-being, the University of Toledo campuses are tobacco-free.
