<p>What does a Senior Buyer do at Swire Coca-Cola?Acts as a work and thought leader, providing guidance and training to junior buyers within non-production department. Oversees non-production sourcing activities for clients in areas such as IT, Sales & Marketing, and other functions as needed. Develops sourcing strategies, conducts major negotiations, and non-routine activities for U.S. operations. Locates and develops suppliers that can meet current and future non-production needs. Coordinates with other departments to solve supply problems.</p> <p>Job Details: Job Level: 6Responsibilities:</p> <p>Create and release RFPs/RFQs following the 7-step sourcing process and is able to train others on process</p> <p>Understands and is able to train what commodity/project should cost and negotiates to get suppliers to that ideal cost level not just budget level</p> <p>Considers the business' strategy and priorities during sourcing not just cost targets</p> <p>Understands and tracks key market factors that impact commodity/project costs</p> <p>Source with the client's needs in mind on time</p> <p>Stay current with market trends for assigned commodities</p> <p>Recommend technological/process opportunities to keep business ahead of competition and improve operations</p> <p>Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders related to supplier performance</p> <p>Maintain high level of integrity to ensure all suppliers treated fairly</p> <p>Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities with suppliers and internal stakeholders</p> <p>Maintain accurate records about pricing history</p> <p>Validate that requested price changes are accurate and include all documentation</p> <p>Performs other duties as assigned</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree business, procurement, supply chain or related field required Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) CIPS Level 3 required</p> <p>6+ years Procurement required</p> <p>Experience sourcing in non-production commodities Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook SAP Ariba Effective interpersonal skills Strong executive presence when presenting</p>
