<p>ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off of Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a Food Service Worker, who is available to work evening, and weekend hours.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Sets up food service, or salad area facilities, equipment and utensils, under detailed instruction and, in accordance with specific area needs; checks food temperatures and/or prepares areas for daily operations. </li><li>Follows prescribed procedures in setting up hot and cold food lines; chooses proper utensils and sets steam line to appropriate temperature for menu items. </li><li>Serves food items to customers from counters and/or steam tables, in accordance with specific instructions, ensuring that appropriate portions are served as instructed. </li><li>Replenishes foods, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays at serving stations. </li><li>May clean, wash, and maintain work areas, including floors, facilities, pots, pans, service ware, utensils, and equipment; collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers; as appropriate to the area of operation. </li><li>Operate iPad/Square POS to process cash and credit sales. </li><li>May provide guidance and training to other employees performing related work. </li><li>Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. </li><li>Punctuality, time management and teamwork are necessities </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED preferred </li><li>Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen </li><li>Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English </li><li>Must pass a background investigation, and physical exam </li><li>Must be able to work evening and weekend hours </li><li>Must possess excellent customer service values </li><li>Must be punctual and have great attendance </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <ul> <li>1 year experience in food service </li><li>SERV Safe Certification preferred (candidate must successfully complete food handler certification within the first 30 days of employment) </li><li>Experience operating point of sale equipment </li></ul>
