<p>Advantage xPO is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in New Haven, CT, to repair and maintain facility machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, dock locks, and production machines. If you have the experience and a passion for ensuring equipment runs smoothly, this is the perfect role for you!</p> <p>Shift: 3rd Shift - 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday nights)</p> <p>Pay: $28 per hour</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen for signs of malfunction. </li><li>Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts. </li><li>Inspect used parts to determine dimensional changes and repair or replace them. </li><li>Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments to ensure proper operation. </li><li>Lubricate and clean parts as needed. </li><li>Complete all paperwork related to maintenance and repairs in a timely and accurate manner. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma required. </li><li>5 years of related experience or equivalent education. </li><li>Valid driver's license. </li><li>Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and write routine reports. </li><li>Strong communication skills. </li><li>Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work at roof level. </li><li>Must be able to work in tight spaces and commercial environments. </li><li>Exposure to mechanical parts, high places, chemicals, and weather conditions. </li><li>Steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, hard hats, and eye protection required. </li><li>Adherence to safety guidelines and flexibility with schedules. </li></ul> <p>Our partner company can provide you with the vital benefits that you deserve.
