<p>Description of Job Duty:</p> <p>Nine-month tenure-track position with responsibilities in teaching and advising, research, and service.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>Nine-month tenure-track position with responsibilities in teaching and advising, research, and service. The successful candidate is expected to teach a broad spectrum of undergraduate animal science courses including, but not limited to, animal breeding, livestock evaluation, reproductive physiology, and livestock production and management. Develop a productive research program in his or her area of expertise through procuring grants and contracts, advising undergraduate and graduate students, and publishing high quality research results in scientific or professional journals. Serve as an academic advisor for Animal Science and Pre-veterinary Science students and student organizations toward competitive career placement in the livestock industry.
