<p>Nature of Work</p> <p>The Economic Service Worker Senior will serve as a lead worker of a unit responsible for accepting applications, determining eligibility, and managing a caseload for a variety of Family Assistance programs under the Customer Service Reporting Center for the Office of Constituent Services, Office of Shared Administration. Responsible for conducting personal interviews with clients evaluating and verifying personal financial and social information, and determining eligibility for services. This position determines initial and ongoing eligibility for all programs of assistance including, but not limited to; SNAP, Medicaid, Emergency Assistance, LIEAP, and School Clothing Allowance while meeting deadlines and complying with Federal and State policies and procedures. Requests any additional information needed, enters correctly into the computer system, and ensures accurate and timely receipt of benefits to recipients.
