<p>Job Summary/Essential Job Functions</p> <p>Chick-fil-A Shift Supervisors seek to provide guests with a remarkable experience every day by working as a team to give each guest an expeditious and high-quality personalized experience. The Shift Supervisor also treats those they work with, as well as guests, with honor, dignity, and respect. The Shift Supervisor serves the Chick-fil-A brand by directing Team Members to execute Operational Excellence daily and to bring the Chick-fil-A culture to the community through personal and intentional acts of service.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare setups, positioning of team members and running breaks. </li><li>Answer phone calls. </li><li>Lead by example and uphold all standards and expectations set forth by Chick-fil-A , Inc. and Chick-fil-A of Port Charlotte. </li><li>Provide REMARKable service in all areas including, but not limited to, team performance management, 2nd mile service, operational excellence and operational efficiency. </li><li>Takes responsibility for the outcomes of decisions. </li><li>Upholds ethical and Chick-fil-A standards. </li><li>Proactively assesses needs and responds in a timely manner. </li><li>Handle guest complaints. </li><li>Cash Management (Counting tills, finalizing daily sales, and depositing money). </li><li>Place and prepare catering orders when necessary. </li><li>Ensure ALL team members are in compliance with required local, state and Chick-fil-A safety measures. </li><li>Ensure ALL team members are in compliance with Chick-fil-A quality standards. </li><li>Address and correct unsatisfactory behavior. </li><li>Communicates tasks and objectives clearly and efficiently. </li><li>Exhibits a passion and excitement for Chick-fil-A . </li><li>Influences others to achieve greater performance outcomes. </li><li>Exhibits maturity in communication and behavior. </li><li>Set the pace of the team by being a model team member. </li><li>Work with urgency and handle matters with the utmost care. </li><li>Ensure the safety of team members and guests by running an organized shift. </li><li>Enforce and uphold safety protocols to ensure cleanliness. </li><li>SERVSafe Certification (Current or to be completed). </li><li>Always provide the best quality products with the quickest and most accurate service. </li><li>Serve team, operator, and community in a way that represents the brand of Chick-fil-A professionally and appropriately. </li></ul> <p>Pre-Requisites</p> <ul> <li>Must have work experience for a minimum of: 6 months with prior relevant work experience (to be determined by Supervisor of Operations) OR 8 months without prior relevant work experience. </li><li>Proficiency in all areas/responsibilities of Front Counter. </li><li>Must be able to train. </li><li>Must be available to work an average minimum of 32-35 hours a week. </li><li>Must be available to work on Friday and Saturday. </li><li>Must have open AND close availability. </li><li>Complete application process: Provide at least 2 references, Interview with Supervisor of Operations, Complete training process </li></ul> <p>Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
