<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Community Coach (Job ID 1199)</p> <p>Full time / Academic and Extended Calendar</p> <p>University Pathways Program (UPP) at Post University</p> <p>The University Pathways Program (UPP), a partnership between Post University and EdAdvance, provides students with diverse abilities (ages 17-22) a fully inclusive college experience. Students access courses, internships, campus life, social events and much more while receiving individualized support.</p> <p>Major Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Support the academic, functional, and behavioral needs of young adult students in the classroom and community settings </li><li>Maintain appropriate and timely written documentation and data collection </li><li>Ensure the health and safety of all individuals, including assistance with hygiene and personal care </li><li>Implement and follow all behavior support plans </li><li>Collaborate with team members to support student growth </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>The Community Coach works under the supervision of the Coordinator of the University Pathways Program and/or the Director of Regional and Transition Services</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team </li><li>Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this job </li><li>Must be able to withstand the physical demands of frequent standing, bending, kneeling and therapeutic holding as required with ability to lift 10+ lbs. </li></ul> <p>Application Procedure:</p> <p>Applications should be submitted for consideration by visiting EdAdvance's employment page at, http://edadvance.org/about-us/employment, and click on the APPLY button next to the job posting of interest.</p> <p>EdAdvance does not discriminate in any of its programs, activities or employment practices on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, veteran, marital or familial status, pregnancy, genetic information, or status as a domestic violence victim, (along with any other classification protected by law).
