<p>Yellowstone Club's Employee Childcare department is currently seeking candidates for an Assistant Childcare Teacher. This is a full-time year-round position.</p> <p>Hourly compensation is $19-21 an hour dependent upon experience.</p> <p>Major Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Model and teach developmentally appropriate behavior and interactions between children and adults. </li><li>Provide daily care to meet the needs of every child enrolled. </li><li>Manage day-to-day classroom schedules, routines, and activities. </li><li>Track each child's progress and support lead teachers in communication with families. </li><li>Help children to reach developmental milestones through active play. </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy space </li><li>Communicate with families' daily updates as necessary </li></ul> <p>Other Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Club policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position. </li><li>Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance and consistency standards. </li><li>Maintain a positive and respectful attitude. </li><li>Treat Members, guests, vendors, customers, parents, children, and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times. </li><li>Maintain privacy of our Members at all time. </li><li>Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times. </li><li>Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers and directors. </li><li>Perform work in a safe and high quality manner. </li><li>Project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club to the community at all times. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li><li>Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.</p> <p>Licenses/Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>Meet immunization requirements pursuant to ARM 37.95.184 </li><li>Have appropriate background checks pursuant to ARM 37.95.161 </li><li>Sign a health attestation. </li><li>Be at least 16 years old </li><li>Complete facility overview on-the-job training </li><li>Be current on the ECP Practitioner Registry </li><li>Have current certification for infant, child, and adult CPR and infant choking response, and pediatric first aid. CPR certification must be completed in a hands-on setting or within 30 days of hire </li><li>Successfully complete required early childhood teacher orientation as indicated in 37.95.163 </li></ul> <p>Certificates & Licenses</p> <p>Current CPR/First Aid Certification or can be obtained within 30 days of hire.</p> <p>Current on the MTECP Registry.</p> <p>Computer Skills</p> <p>Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams products</p> <p>Language Ability</p> <p>Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors, parents, and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.</p> <p>Math Ability</p> <p>Able to perform basic math calculations.</p> <p>Reasoning Ability</p> <p>Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
