<p>ANNOUNCEMENT</p> <p>Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the full-time, grant-funded, administrative position of Older Adult and Caregiver Counselor.</p> <p>POSITION DESCRIPTION: In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this is a full-time grant-funded position which is generally scheduled to work 40 hours per week. This position includes initial bio/psycho/social assessment, managing a clinical caseload of older adults and caregivers of older adults, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. In addition, this position assists as appropriate with community education, support programs, grant application and management. Works with limited supervision. This position is dependent upon external funding.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling required. </li><li>LCSW or LCPC strongly preferred. May consider licensure applicants in need of clinical supervision and will obtain licensure within two years. </li><li>Two (2) years post graduate work in mental health counseling and /or with older adults preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of local/regional social service agencies and resources preferred. </li><li>Trauma informed therapist with up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practice preferred </li><li>Must be willing to adhere to professional and ethical standards established by licensing board. </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license, proof of automobile insurance, and a personal vehicle available for business use. </li><li>Background clearance check required. </li><li>Program planner for varied populations, preferred. </li></ul> <p>SALARY: Salary Grade 2 on the Administrative Pay Scale, ranging from $44,691 - $66,991 per year.</p> <p>BENEFITS AND PERKS: Benefit availability and eligibility may vary from the summary listed below.
