This may include duties such as: Preparing students either as soloists or ensemble members for various performances; supervising sectional rehearsals and ensembles; and</p> <p>preparing group(s) for participation in school performances, festivals, clinics, parades, etc.</p> <p>Involves knowledge along with experience of instrumental music techniques, marching band fundamentals, performance practices, and the ability to develop musicianship in a classroom setting. Familiarity</p> <p>with instrumental music ensembles as well as different instruments and components. Ability to read and interpret music notation; effectively work with all students; and maintain confidentiality.</p>
