We are seeking two Simulator Console Operators (SCOs) to support MQ-9 Reaper Simulator Operations at Shaw AFB, SC, for the 50th Attack Squadron.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Simulator Console Operator plays a vital role in ensuring realistic and mission-focused simulation training using MQ-9 Simulator platforms. The SCO supports training events ranging from basic syllabus missions to advanced tactical training and VIP demonstrations, delivering immersive, accurate, and flexible simulation environments.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operate MQ-9 Simulator systems, including Desktop Trainer (DTT) and Distributed Mission Operations (DMO), to support training in:</p> </li><li> <p>Emergency Procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Launch and Recovery</p> </li><li> <p>Mission Control Element</p> </li><li> <p>Weapons School Spin-up</p> </li><li> <p>Continuation Training (CT)</p> </li><li> <p>Syllabus and VIP demonstration events</p> </li><li> <p>Load scheduled training missions ahead of instructor and student crew arrival</p> </li><li> <p>Remain present during missions to adjust scenarios in real time as directed by instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot simulator software/hardware issues and coordinate with manufacturer reps</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain time-use logs and document simulator discrepancies</p> </li><li> <p>Support training development by collaborating with Weapons (DOW), Training (DOT), and Current Ops teams</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and refine scenarios and profiles using MACE, MSAT/MJAT, Zeus, CAVOK, or similar tactical display tools</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with aircrew for voice and mIRC injects and provide "white cell" role-playing during simulations (e.g., outside agencies, adversaries, ground forces)</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Active Top Secret Clearance</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 2 years of experience in at least one of the following roles:</p> </li><li> <p>MQ-9 Pilot</p> </li><li> <p>MQ-9 Sensor Operator</p> </li><li> <p>MQ-9 Simulator/Console Operator</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with MQ-9 Simulator software systems including MACE and MSAT/MJAT</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of MQ-9 mission operations and simulation protocols</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to operate independently and support complex training environments</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in a USAF training or instructional setting</p> </li><li> <p>Previous DMO or DTT operations experience</p> </li><li> <p>Strong technical troubleshooting and scenario scripting skills</p> </li></ul> <p>Why Join ITSC?</p> <ul> <li> <p>Be part of a mission that supports national security and warfighter readiness</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with a high-performing team of experts</p> </li><li> <p>Competitive compensation and benefits</p> </li><li> <p>Clear path for professional growth</p> </li></ul>
