This role involves managing staff, ensuring the proper cleaning and sterilization of medical instruments, maintaining inventory, and implementing quality control measures to support safe and effective patient care.</p> <p>Does this position require Patient Care?</p> <p>No</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Provide leadership and supervision to the Central Sterile Processing (CSP) team, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. </li><li>Recruit, train, and manage CSP staff, including technicians and support personnel. </li><li>Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure the cleanliness and sterility of medical instruments and equipment. </li><li>Oversee the proper functioning and maintenance of sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and other sterilization devices. </li><li>Manage and maintain the inventory of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment. </li><li>Manage the budget for the CSP department, including personnel costs, equipment purchases, and supplies. </li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory agencies, including but not limited to The Joint Commission (TJC), OSHA, and other accrediting bodies. </li><li>Collaborate with surgical, medical, and nursing teams to ensure timely and accurate supply of sterile instruments. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Administration required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
