As one of the top 10 family-owned companies in Germany, Heraeus employs around 15,200 employees in 40 countries.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Evaluate work processes to determine strategies and programs which provide greater productivity and efficiency of production functions by performing the following duties.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Project management for the design, fabrication, and installation of automated machinery and processes.</p> <p>Establish, implement, and maintain a quality process program throughout the plant in accordance with quality standards advocated by the company (including: all applicable ISO 9000 processes and procedures, etc.)</p> <p>Provide technical support for production area staff. Improve production through the implementation of new processes and equipment.</p> <p>Create assembly drawings of equipment, fixtures & electrical diagrams using AutoCAD.</p> <p>Create & update OMS documents as used in the manufacturing process.</p> <p>Troubleshoot highly automated equipment or machines that are used on the floor for production. Identify root causes and implement action plans in collaboration with machine technicians.</p> <p>Provide training and guidance regarding equipment issues to operators and machine techs.</p> <p>Overlook TPM measures and structure. Create and oversee maintenance tasks.</p> <p>Respond to feedback and improvement suggestions from operators about safety, processes, machines, fixtures, and other equipment.</p> <p>Utilize LabView, OEE Reader, e-VSM, etc. as tools with data acquisition and analysis.</p> <p>Oversee the installation and startup of new equipment and initiate any modifications, as they become necessary</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US WITHOUT REQUIRING SPONSORSHIP NOW OR IN THE FUTURE.</p> <p>Minimum Education: BS degree in Manufacturing, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related field and at least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.</p> <p>Must have ability to run/author own projects regarding line balancing and standardized workflow.</p> <p>Must have machine troubleshooting experience.</p> <p>Must possess a working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.</p> <p>5S and Six Sigma experience required.</p> <p>Previous experience working with high-speed automation and value stream mapping required.</p> <p>Must possess strong statistical analysis skills using Minitab.</p> <p>Previous experience working on projects to improve efficiency and achieve cost savings.</p> <p>Ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.</p> <p>Must be proficient in AUTOCAD and possess strong PC skills including the Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Excel and Word.</p> <p>Candidates, interested in requisition 58667 , are invited to apply online or contact Dianna Mullett for further questions - both will of course be treated confidentially.</p> <p>ReqID: 58667</p>
