This highly visible role is critical to advancing our vision of making planning a strategic differentiator and core capability. The ED partners with senior executives, regional leaders, and external stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, enable growth, and enhance customer experience.</p> <p>As a strategic leader and change agent, the ideal candidate brings deep cross-functional expertise, strong supplier relationships, and a global mindset. Responsibilities span demand and supply planning, purchasing, replenishment, production and capacity planning, and advanced planning tool development (o9). The ED will scale planning capabilities enterprise-wide and lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) design, governance, and execution in partnership with regional teams.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Core Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Build and lead a high-performing planning organization rooted in continuous improvement and execution excellence.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) across commercial teams, planning, procurement, and field teams and liaison with executive leadership. Design, govern, and implement regional S&OP processes. ensure maturity and alignment with business objectives.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish shared performance metrics with stakeholders to track cost, service, and quality, including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and planning tool adoption.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop deep understanding of the supply chain P&L and key cost drivers, including cost per unit (CPU).</p> </li><li> <p>Drive modernization initiatives through automation, advanced analytics, and talent development to enhance agility and scalability.</p> </li><li> <p>Support retail operations by optimizing store replenishment, logistics, and backroom processes in partnership with Retail Operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Shape and implement planning strategy and policy to support long-term growth and cost efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate and develop strong relationships with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and Product teams to align planning with enterprise priorities.</p> </li><li> <p>Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across planning functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage a large, geographically dispersed team (4 direct reports, ~75 total resources).</p> </li><li> <p>Champion Comcast's customer experience goals through initiatives such as same-day delivery, packaging improvements, and retail delivery standardization.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive major supply chain transformation efforts and system-wide strategic initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Implement advanced tools and processes to elevate planning performance and customer experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>15+ years of experience in supply chain operations, supply chain planning and logistics operations, in progressively senior positions.</p> </li><li> <p>Deep knowledge in all aspects of supply chain with functional depth in supply chain operations, planning, forward and reverse logistics, retail operations, transportation and multi- location distribution warehousing in a complex environment, including both centralized and decentralized operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong background in S&OP design, governance, and implementation.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven track record in modernization, process improvement, and KPI-driven performance</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working in and collaborating effectively in a matrix organization with cross functional and operations stakeholders, ideally in a high-volume telecom environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience leading a strategic vision across large teams spread across multiple business units and regions</p> </li><li> <p>Experience driving and improving end-to-end customer experience</p> </li><li> <p>Successfully driven significant change management through the supply chain</p> </li><li> <p>Certifications such as APICS or Six Sigma preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Leadership Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Planning Excellence: Deep expertise in demand, supply, replenishment and capacity planning; skilled in leveraging advanced tools and driving modernization.</p> </li><li> <p>Strategic Acumen: Able to translate business vision into clear priorities. Challenges the status quo and brings a forward-thinking, innovative approach.</p> </li><li> <p>Results Orientation: Proven ability to deliver measurable performance improvements. Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on productivity, efficiency, and accountability.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration & Influencing: Strong communicator and trusted advisor to senior leaders. Able to build consensus, guide trade-off decisions, and drive alignment across internal and external stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Team Leadership: Hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves supply chain executive, with a track record of structuring effective teams and then leading and mentoring them to achieve improved levels of performance.
