The teacher fosters a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that promotes cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development. The PFA teacher collaborates with families, support staff, and community partners to ensure all children-particularly those considered at-risk-are prepared for kindergarten success.</p> <p>DUTIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Plan and implement engaging, standards-aligned lessons based on IELDS using developmentally appropriate practice.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD for instructional planning and assessment.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct regular developmental screenings, assessments, and observations to guide instruction and identify student needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including English learners, students with IEPs, and those requiring additional supports.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote inclusive, trauma-informed classroom management strategies that support positive social-emotional development.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain documentation and progress monitoring in accordance with PFA grant guidelines and state requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct regular family engagement activities and home visits to build strong partnerships that support student learning.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and administrators to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when applicable.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in required professional development, reflective supervision, and team meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Uphold all expectations set forth by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and the Preschool for All grant.</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Early Childhood Education endorsement (Birth-Grade 3).</p> <p>SCHEDULING</p> <p>Working hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The schedule is subject to change with district demands in compliance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.</p> <p>SALARY</p> <p>Please see attached PN Agreement athttps://core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/803/North_Greene_Unit_District_3/2371030/Professional_Negotiations_Agreement-North_Greene_UD_3_2022-2025.pdf.</p> <p>Attachment(s):</p> <ul> <li>Signed PN Agreement - 2022-2025.pdf </li></ul>
