<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Location: Nordic Valley Resort - Eden, UT</p> <p>Position Type: Seasonal</p> <p>Salary Range: Undisclosed</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Ski Patrol monitors the mountain, promoting a safe environment for guests and employees. Ski patrol provides first aid, rescue, and transport to those in need.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Respond to medical emergencies on the mountain, transporting injured guests off of the mountain. </li><li>Administer first aid, if necessary. </li><li>Assess and mitigate hazards and safety concerns within the Resort ski area. </li><li>Maintain Resort ski area signs, ropes, and padding. </li><li>Educate guests on proper conduct and safety measures. </li><li>Complete required paperwork and reports accurately and timely. </li><li>Perform sweeps at the end of the day to ensure that all guests and employees are safely off the mountain. </li><li>Special duties may include performing chair lift evacuations, search and rescue, and avalanche mitigation. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age. </li><li>Current CPR and EMT certification is required. </li><li>Must demonstrate advanced to expert skiing or snowboarding ability to safely navigate any area of the mountain in all weather and snow conditions </li><li>Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Must have a strong work ethic and self-motivation. </li><li>Must work well with a team and collaborate with others regularly. </li></ul>
