<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Developer (AP/UI) in Maryland Heights, MO.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot </li><li>Build, test, and optimize user interfaces using ReactJS </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions </li><li>Implement clean, efficient, and reusable code following OOP principles and best practices </li><li>Leverage version control (Git) and CI/CD tools for development and deployment </li><li>Write unit tests and contribute to code reviews to ensure code quality </li><li>Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full technology stack </li><li>Stay up to date with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in full stack development* Strong experience in both backend API development and frontend UI development </li><li>Solid foundation in Java and Spring Boot for building scalable RESTful APIs, coupled with hands-on expertise in ReactJS for building modern, responsive user interfaces </li><li>Strong working knowledge of Spring Boot and Java 8+ </li><li>Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles </li><li>Proficiency in ReactJS, including hooks, state/props, memoization, and lifecycle methods </li><li>Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including Promises, async/await, and shallow vs. deep copy </li><li>Experience with Git version control </li><li>Solid understanding of OOP concepts </li><li>Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and continuous integration tools </li><li>Problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of software development fundamentals, and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to team members and stakeholders </li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Telecom industry background </li><li>Experience working in Agile environments </li><li>Exposure to both frontend and backend performance optimization </li></ul>
