We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>Responsible for overseeing financial reporting, analysis, and strategic planning to support informed decision-making and ensure fiscal responsibility.</p> <p>Does this position require Patient Care?</p> <p>No</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Develop and manage the preparation of financial reports for the hospital, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders. </li><li>Lead the development of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis. </li><li>Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities. </li><li>Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting processes to streamline operations, enhance accuracy, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. </li><li>Supervise a team of financial analysts, providing guidance, training, and mentorship. </li><li>Present financial findings, reports, and recommendations to senior management, department heads, and key stakeholders. </li><li>Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and healthcare industry standards. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education Bachelor's Degree Finance required or Bachelor's Degree Accounting required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
