<p>The Carpenter is responsible for maintaining and repairing the existing appearance of property and fixtures, assisting with in-house remodels and working with outside contractors on larger projects.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain cosmetic esthetics of casino and upkeep of common areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain an orderly schedule of preventive maintenance in casino, restaurant, banquets and kitchen areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Respond promptly to needs of company.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure to shift supervisor.</p> </li><li> <p>Annual completion of Respirator training and fit test.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.</p> </li><li> <p>Three or more years' experience in finish, rough or related carpentry trades.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to understand blueprints and work with various woods, sheet rock, carpet, paint and laminate.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.</p> </li><li> <p>Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines pressures.</p> </li></ul>
