Your role will be essential to our success, and your efforts will influence our ability to provide treatment to our community.</p> <p>Competencies:</p> <p>The candidate must have knowledge of bio-psycho-social aspects of major mental illnesses; Medications used to treat mental illness; community resources and how to access them; evaluating and coping with family stress; problem solving and conflict resolution; ability to relate to clients, families and peers; Creativity and ability to work independently; Each individual in the IOC program will be offered the opportunity, and encouraged, to complete a Wellness and Recovery Action Plan [WRAP], a tool designed to help people develop skills, knowledge and attitudes needed in order to assume a more active role in maintaining mental health recovery</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the involuntary outpatient commitment program. </li><li>Facilitates staff supervision, scheduling and service delivery to insure that all clients have timely access to appropriate services. </li><li>Ensures staff compliance with all applicable policies and procedures. </li><li>Interface with Court, STCF and Crisis Screening </li><li>Provides services to clients as necessary. </li><li>Quality clinical care through evidence-based practices with adults </li><li>Provide clear and accurate documentation </li><li>Conduct assessments </li><li>Understanding of the IOC commitment process </li><li>Advocacy and Referral </li><li>On-call responsibilities </li><li>Attend Meetings and complete various reports as required </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive base salary </li><li>Medical and dental insurance </li><li>Vision plan </li><li>Retirement plan </li><li>Flexible spending plans </li><li>EXCELLENT time benefits for qualified positions! </li><li>Opportunity for personal and career growth, including supervision towards professional licensure for eligible candidates </li><li>Team-oriented environment - we practice the FISH! Philosophy </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's (MA/MS) degree in mental health related field; </li><li>Five (5) years experience working within the mental health system </li><li>Two (2) years supervisory experience </li><li>LCSW/LPC preferred </li><li>Knowledge and experience working with mentally ill in imminent distress </li><li>Knowledge of the mental health field in NJ and commitment to the principles of wellness & recovery. </li><li>Knowledge of the County Court System preferred </li></ul> <p>All positions require a valid driver's license in good standing and pre-employment drug screening.
