<p>The Health & Safety Compliance Manager is responsible for delivering comprehensive Compliance and Accident Prevention services across all 50 states for Chubb. This role ensures the highest standards of regulatory compliance, manages state-specific requirements, and drives initiatives that support Chubb's underwriting and operational excellence. The Health and Safety Compliance Manager oversees the timely and accurate delivery of regulatory audits, compliance reports, and service letters; ensures the integrity and maintenance of compliance databases; and drives the analysis of loss data to support regulatory and business objectives.</p> <p>Travel: 15% of the time</p> <p>Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Casualty Center of Excellence Leader</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain expert knowledge of insurance-related accident prevention requirements across all U.S. jurisdictions </li><li>Oversee the preparation and execution of state audits, annual reports, and regulatory service letters </li><li>Respond to inquiries from state regulators regarding service, timeliness, and coverage </li><li>Ensure compliance with changing statutory requirements and proactively adapt strategies as regulations evolve </li><li>Coordinate with Chubb Risk Consulting field personnel to fulfill customer requests and regulatory assignments </li><li>Delegate, track, and ensure timely completion of assignments and projects </li><li>Monitors quality of compliance deliverables to ensure applicable regulatory requirements are met </li><li>Provide regular updates to management on compliance status, future outlook, and gap analysis with actionable recommendations </li><li>Manages and tracks project and program financials and prepares associated reporting </li><li>Responsible for the maintenance of compliance databases and all related resources </li><li>Analyze loss data and trends, providing insights and support materials to policyholders </li><li>Maintain positive relationships with state regulators </li><li>Represent Chubb at industry events, regulatory meetings, and professional organizations as needed </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field </li><li>CSP Certification (Certified Safety Professional) or equivalent </li><li>Advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements </li><li>At least 10 years of experience in loss control or compliance within the insurance industry </li><li>Proficient with multiple software programs and digital tools, especially MS Office software products (MS Word, Excel, and Teams are a must) </li><li>Experience in process automation, with a focus on identifying, designing, and implementing automated solutions to improve compliance-related workflows and ensure regulatory adherence </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage programs, lead teams, and drive compliance initiatives </li><li>Experience analyzing loss data and identifying trends </li><li>Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills </li><li>Ability to adapt to change and work autonomously or collaboratively as needed </li></ul>
