The Manager works with internal teams and external partners, and ensures the API ecosystem aligns with business objectives, supports seamless integrations, and enhances operational efficiency.</p> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum four years hands-on experience with Mulesoft platform, including API management, integration development, and deployment required</p> </li><li> <p>Mulesoft Certified Developer - Level 1 (Mule 4) preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Mulesoft Certified Architect - Level 1 or higher preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Additional relevant certifications in API management, cloud computing, or integration architecture are a plus.</p> </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>In-depth knowledge of Mulesoft Anypoint, API Manager and Monitoring, DataWeave, or related API technologies required</p> </li><li> <p>Combined technical leadership and strategic oversight to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative API solutions that drive business value and digital transformation</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of web services, REST, SOAP, and other integration protocols required</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure APIs required</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipeline tools for automated deployment</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Designs and implements comprehensive API strategy, roadmap, and governance model aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures APIs are designed with scalability, security, and performance in mind, optimizing integration capabilities across business functions</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees the day-to-day management and operation of the API platform, ensuring continuous performance monitoring, issue resolution, and optimization of API services</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and smooth operational performance</p> </li><li> <p>Leads the design, development, and implementation of API integrations, functionality enhancements, and continuous improvement to drive business value</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with IT, business units, and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs</p> </li><li> <p>Manages relationships with external vendors and third-party service providers , ensuring deliverables meet organizational standards and timelines</p> </li><li> <p>Handles escalations related to vendor issues, and coordinates with external support</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures API integrations adhere to industry regulations, internal security policies, and compliance requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Continuously monitors API security and mitigates potential risks, and provides guidance to stakeholders on best practices</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with internal teams, including IT, development, and business units, to understand integration needs and deliver tailored solutions</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits of Joining the Teachers Team:</p> <p>We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes, but is not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Paid time off for vacation, personal days, and holidays</p> </li><li> <p>Fully-funded pension plan</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) company contribution</p> </li><li> <p>Teachers pays 100% of Dental & Vision premium</p> </li><li> <p>Tuition reimbursement is offered to full-time employees</p> </li><li> <p>Exclusive employee discount of 0.96% APR on credit card loans and a 1.00% APR on all other loans through Teachers</p> </li></ul> <p>The good faith range for this position is $91,250 - $114,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs.
