<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The College of Health Sciences is looking for an individual to provide therapy technician support services to UK Pediatric Therapies at the Child Development Center of the Bluegrass for Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Language Therapy services.</p> <p>This role would include but is not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>preparing areas for treatment (set up/clean up) </li><li>monitoring the therapy areas and space for safety and cleanliness </li><li>providing aide and/or implementing treatment activities under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist </li><li>aid in transitioning children from the treatment area to his/her classroom and/or waiting area </li></ul> <p>Additional duties would include assisting therapy providers with clients who need extra support, ordering therapy supplies, and assisting the Child Development Center as necessary or requested by the UK Pediatric Therapies Therapy Director.</p> <p>Skills / Knowledge / Abilities</p> <p>Communication skills, time management, motivated, taking direction from multiple individuals.</p> <p>Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
