This position is responsible for the execution of all accounting, finance, and reporting functions for the Company's majority-owned Joint Venture. Additionally, this role assists with the Company's Controls and Compliance program, including a SOX 404 implementation, and serves as a liaison with internal and external auditors for the North American Business Unit. This role works closely with other departments like Accounting, Finance, Operations, Procurement and FP&A, as well as external contacts such as consultants and auditors. This position reports to the North America Finance and Controls Senior Manager and is based in Tampa, FL.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <p>The following are essential duties and responsibilities for this position:</p> <p>Joint Venture Accounting and Finance</p> <ul> <li>Liaise with the Joint Venture partners to perform all accounting and finance functions of the Company's Joint Venture including monthly journal entries and reconciliations. </li><li>Analyze the monthly result development, provide periodic forecast information to FP&A and manage the annual budget cycles. </li><li>Compile the monthly reporting package, perform and compile result analyses and board presentations. </li></ul> <p>Maintain the treasury function and initiate and review payments</p> <ul> <li>Preparation of annual financial statements along with audit schedules for external auditors. </li></ul> <p>Controls and Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the North American Business Unit's SOX 404 implementation and subsequent administration. </li><li>Perform monthly and quarterly entity level controls, including quarterly management representation certificates and risk-based journal entry review. </li><li>Review and approve SAP Segregation of Duties (SOD) requests and conflicts. </li><li>Proactively and collaboratively identify and implement improvement opportunities within the business process and control owners. </li><li>Train and educate business process and control owners to safeguard internal control compliance. </li><li>Liaison with internal and external auditors </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skills/Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong accounting and analytical skills </li><li>Proficient in Excel and Word </li><li>Experience retrieving and analyzing large datasets. </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of SOX requirements and business process controls. </li><li>Organized and detail oriented, adaptable to change. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written. </li><li>Experience with SAP and Business Warehouse (BW) preferred. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <p>Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field.</p> <p>Certified Public Accountant designation or candidate preferred.</p> <p>2 to 5 years relevant work experience in public accounting or industry.</p> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Based in Tampa, FL with limited travel requirements.</p> <p>A Career with Refresco</p> <p>Refresco offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, which include:</p> <ul> <li>Medical/dental/vision insurance </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>401(k) savings plan with company match </li><li>Paid holidays and vacation </li><li>Well-being benefits </li><li>Discount programs </li></ul> <p>Join Refresco TODAY and enjoy a rewarding CAREER!</p> <p>Any employment agency, person, or entity that submits a résumé to this career site or a hiring manager does so with the understanding that the applicant's résumé will become the property of Refresco Beverages, Inc.
