<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Lunch Aide needed for the 2025-2026 school year at John F. Kennedy Elementary School.</p> <p>Hours are approximately 10:45 - 1:15, Monday through Friday.</p> <p>The hourly wage for these positions is $17.22 per hour. There are no benefits associated with these positions.</p> <p>Interested candidates must apply online at www.milforded.org in order to be considered for a position.</p> <p>No phone calls please.</p> <p>POSITION TITLE: LUNCH AIDE</p> <p>PAY GRADE: Hourly</p> <p>UNION: Non-Union</p> <p>SUMMARY/GOAL OF POSITION:</p> <p>Under general supervision, provides monitoring of children during lunch waves.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL TASKS OF THE POSITION: (Illustrative, not inclusive)</p> <ul> <li>Monitors children while they eat lunch </li><li>Provides assistance to students during lunch </li><li>Cleans tables </li><li>Makes lunch room ready for next lunch wave </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand for at least one and one half an hour per day </li><li>Ability to communicate with children </li><li>Ability to withstand noise levels from moderate to loud </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>High School graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).</p> <p>LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <p>None.</p> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Previous Lunch Aide or Cafeteria experience.</p> <p>OTHER REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Background check required </li><li>Screening for Tuberculosis (TB) required. </li></ul>
