<p>The Order Fulfillment Specialist is experienced in all areas of the warehouse to include, but not limited to, inventory control, pulling customer orders, shipping and receiving and operating non-motorized and motorized equipment.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Quickly & accurately pull customer orders using first in first out (FIFO) method </li><li>Receive, off-load and breakdown incoming shipments </li><li>Count and reconcile incoming shipments against vendor packing slips </li><li>Ensure date coding on incoming product </li><li>Transport finished goods from Converting area to the Warehouse </li><li>Safely and quickly package customer orders within a 99.9% accuracy rate </li><li>Distribute product to warehouse bins in compliance with first in first out (FIFO) rotational procedures </li><li>Reposition bulk and overflow skids per FIFO procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency </li><li>Load and unload trucks </li><li>Stage order for shipment </li><li>Accurately document customer orders </li><li>Ship orders using UPS or FedEx shipping system </li><li>Restock shelves as well as organize how and where product is stored </li><li>Assist with inventory control and annual inventory process </li><li>Operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner ensuring the safety of self and team members </li></ul> <p>Additional Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace; </li><li>Participate in performance improvement programs, data collection, and meetings as directed; </li><li>Follows prescribed safety regulations </li><li>Maintains an optimal level of product quality and adheres to ORAFOL's Quality Program </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma required; </li><li>Basic math skills and computer data entry required; </li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills required. </li></ul> <p>Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li>At least one year of related warehouse/shipping experience </li><li>Forklift certification preferred: ability to be certified within 90 days of start date. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to life and move objects a minimum of 50 pounds regularly. </li><li>Must be able to meet the physical requirements of this position such as standing for extended periods of time, lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling and occasionally kneeling. </li></ul> <p>Aptitudes & Characteristics:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to details. </li><li>Excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Must be able to consistently meet and maintain skid counts. </li><li>Ability to follow instructions, work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Must be able to adapt to job duties and department changes. </li><li>Ability to work with little to no supervision. </li><li>Must be a fast learner, self-motivated and driven; strives towards continuous improvement. </li><li>Must have a positive "can do" attitude and a sense of accountability and be a team player. </li></ul>
