<p>We're looking for a reliable, organized, and safety-conscious Driver/ Tech to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves handling the washing, delivery, and collection of reusable products using our specialized 26ft box truck equipped with a hydraulic liftgate as needed. Your contributions will directly impact our mission of promoting sustainability and reducing waste in event spaces.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Load and unload cases of product from the box truck with precision and care. </li><li>Sort and prepare dirty cups for washing. </li><li>Operate a commercial dishwasher to clean and sanitize cups. </li><li>Inspect products for quality assurance. </li><li>Pack and organize clean products for delivery to customers. </li><li>Maintain accurate inventory counts and report any issues promptly. </li><li>Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning and cleanliness prior to delivery to customers. </li><li>Accompany the Operations Manager on deliveries and pickups. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness of work areas. </li><li>Perform order deliveries using company vehicles and technology </li></ul> <p>uch as our company's App while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the Operations Director to execute delivery plans effectively. </li><li>Represent r.World professionally during client interactions. </li><li>Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and operational checklists. </li><li>Familiarize yourself with local routes and optimize delivery efficiency. </li><li>Provide support in wash cycle activities as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience operating a 26ft box truck or similar vehicle (professional experience required). </li><li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (commercial driver's license preferred). </li><li>Ability to drive safely in diverse weather conditions for extended periods. </li><li>Ability to pass a DOT medical exam (Required) </li><li>Strong commitment to safety standards and protocols. </li><li>Capable of lifting, pushing, and carrying up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Proficiency in operating a pallet jack, ratchet straps, pallet wrap, and using GPS/routing systems. </li><li>Basic vehicle maintenance skills. </li><li>Excellent time management and organizational abilities. </li><li>Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and initiative. </li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules. </li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to quality. </li><li>Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn and grow. </li><li>Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate in a team environment. </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>$25/hour</p> <p>To Apply</p> <p>Please email your resume and cover letter describing your level of interest to jessica.haap@rworldreuse.com.</p>
