Provides treatment according to assignment to adults and adolescents when appropriate#according to accepted standards. Incorporates knowledge and theoretical concepts into all facets of interaction with patients. Demonstrates competency in the provision of service. Formulates diagnostic impressions. Determines the appropriate level of care. Provides appropriate referral for follow-up. Document client notes#clearly, concisely and according to policy. Addiction Treatment Counselor Position Requirements: Associate#s degree in a related field required.# 1-3 years of addiction counseling experience.# Years of experience can be substituted with a Bachelor#s or Master#s degree in a related field.
