We also provide attractive working conditions and opportunities for career growth through professional development.</p> <p>Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey.</p> <p>Short Description</p> <p>Conduct interviews with patients and families to insure insurance coverage which includesobtaining benefit information and pre-certification.Make referrals to financial assistance services for patients with less than 100% coverage.This position will also perform Scheduling duties when needed.</p> <p>Experience Required</p> <p>2 years insurance verification or registration experience in a hospital or physician office.</p> <p>Knowledge of medical insurance and billing requirements.</p> <p>Proficient in Flowcast, HQ, eCAOS, MISYS, Spheris.</p> <p>Knowledge of state and federal medical assistance and health services programs preferred.</p> <p>Ability to organize, take independent action and project Cooper values to customers and</p> <p>co-workers.</p> <p>Experienced scheduling, front desk, and basic knowledge of hospital/physician coding.</p> <p>Education Requirements</p> <p>High School Diploma or Equivalent required.</p> <p>Special Requirements</p> <p>Skilled in use of computers and software applications, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, registration and billing systems.</p> <p>Excellent verbal and written communications skills.</p> <p>Scheduled Days / Hours: as needed</p> <p>Salary Min ($)</p> <p>USD $20.00</p> <p>Salary Max ($)</p> <p>USD $31.00</p>
